From when I was a teenager, I knew I wanted to pursue a career as a Dietitian. My Grandad needed dialysis for the treatment of kidney disease and whilst receiving his treatment, he was referred to a Dietitian to discuss advice to help manage his renal disease through diet. The realisation that I could combine my love of food, science & working with people, led me down this career path.

Since graduating with a BSc (Hons) in Nutrition & Dietetics in 2014 from the University of Surrey, I have worked in several NHS trusts in the South East of England. I have experience across different clinical specialities including Stroke, Oncology & Critical Care, however my specialist interest is in Gastroenterology. I have worked as a Senior Specialist Gastroenterology Dietitian at Surrey & Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust and currently work part time as a Lead Gastroenterology Dietitian at Ashford & St Peter's NHS Foundation Trust.
In 2021 I launched KP Nutrition and have worked with patients, who have either self-referred or been referred from one of seven Gastroenterology / Colorectal Consultants who refer their patients to me.

Outside of work, I enjoy playing netball, skiing, dog walks and cooking - and have a Distinction in City & Guilds Certificate in Culinary Skill.
